Hi Emma, I thought your post on using Google and Google Scholar was very clearly presented and I liked the way you 'walked' your reader through your searching. I also really like the persona you have adopted for your website and the overall presentation of this site (I'm not sure if that is an actual vintage photo in the background or if you've done an "Amelie" - as in the Jeunet filml!)

I thought that your search strings went from student level (basic) to complicated without a mid-point and would have like a bit more evolution in terms of leading the reader through the Google search process. Having said that, I found some useful resource suggestions from your searching and particularly liked your focus on collaborative teaching models.
I will be following up on your link to "Collaborative Models for Librarian and Teacher Partnerships", so thank you for sharing. :-)

Hello Emma,

Thanks for sharing your blog! I found the Google and Google Scholar blogs informative and I had to smile about the comment about typing your whole inquiry question into Google, which produces an extraordinary number of results, as up until just recently, I was guilty of that!! *face palm* Your search terms were much clearer in gaining more relevant results. Something else that helped me in my learning was that one of your questions was asking to define the teacher-librarian's role in inquiry/library setting, which is what I've been looking more closely at. It's tricky business changing some pre-existing ideas about library lessons with a 'gentle' approach as you described and I feel that I'm on the right track with my own inquiry for this subject since you're also wondering that.
One suggestion for improvement is to increase the size of your font. I know Ctrl scroll can increase size for readability but I changed my font size as well as this was the feedback that I received. Something to consider anyway.

Good luck on the rest of your assignment!
Regards,
Jen
